Shipping After placing your order, please allow about 1 to 3 business days (Mon-Fri) to process your order and get it shipped out of the warehouse. After that, please allow another 4 to 5 days on the road. Generally, we tell our customers to expect a delivery within 5 to 8 total days from the day of purchase. We use standard ground shipping (UPS or FedEx) for most items, but larger items such as beds or recliners require freight shipping and usually take about 1 to 3 weeks for delivery. If you order a larger item that requires freight delivery, the shipping company will call you about a week before the estimated delivery date to schedule the drop off. Expedited shipping is currently not an option. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, any U.S. Territory, APO/FPO, or any other international address. Please note that orders could arrive in multiple packages. These shipping times are only estimates, as we occasionally experience delays due to supply chain issues.
Returns If you have any issues with your item, we are just a phone call or email away. We offer returns within 30 days of the purchase date, except for FreeRider and EWheels products, which have a 14-day return policy. Please note that Journey, Tzora, and JBH items are non-returnable. To start a return, contact us at info@restoremobility.com or call 800-971-5369. To qualify, the item must be in new and unused condition, and in the original box and packaging. You will be responsible for return shipping fees and a 2.9% processing fee. Some items may have no restocking fee, while others may have a restocking fee ranging from 5% to 25%. Since every vendor is different, please inquire about your specific item for more details. Once your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that most add-on accessories and any white glove delivery fees are non-refundable.
Package Refusal If you choose to refuse the package for any reason, it will be processed as a standard return, and all applicable return fees, including return shipping, restocking fees, and processing fees, will apply as outlined above.
Package Undeliverable If the package cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., a blocked driveway or the delivery truck being unable to access your location) but you still wish to receive the package, you will be responsible for any re-delivery fees. Additionally, you will be responsible for covering any storage fees incurred during the time required to arrange a new delivery plan.
Damages/Issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. Once approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@restoremobility.com.
Exchanges The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to go through the return process for the item you have, and once the return is accepted, you would then make a separate purchase for the new item.
Cancellations If you wish to cancel your order, please let us know as soon as possible. The sooner the better! In general, we will try to capture your payment at the time of shipment or after 7 days from the date of purchase to avoid any processing fees due to cancellation. However, if you choose to cancel your order after we have captured your payment, then you will be subject to a 2.9% processing fee.

I've owned my SmartScoot for several months. It is powerful and lightweight. I can pick it up. It also looks good. I've taken it on dates to nice restaurants. It gathers plenty of comments. It has allowed me a step towards a more "normal" life. I am 6'2" 230 pounds. It hauls me up my steep inclined driveway without any trouble. It's fast too. You have to be careful with the throttle. It will spin the front wheel. Also no backup alarm! Thank you! All of that is the positives. 5 stars for that. The accessories are pretty terrible. The handlebar mounted shopping cart is too small and doesn't fit well at all. Gets in the way of the front brake lever. Certainly not big enough to shop with. I put a tall cavas grocery bag in it to gain shopping capacity. That wasn't thought out well at all..

I love this scooter
I love this scooter! I drive a pick up truck so I was looking for a scooter light enough for me to lift into the back. That was my original goal but the Smart Scoot proved to be much better than I'd hoped. I like the fact you can use your feet when you want, which is great for turning around in elevators, how it folds down and slides under a table, and goes faster than other scooters. I do not use the back of the seat, but that is my personal preference, I want to keep it light as possible. Wherever I go, people stop me and ask where I got it. I give them the website or phone number. I have probably sold several for the company! I was even in the emergency room with my husband and one of the male nurses was taking it for a spin and said he wanted one for his wife! I am 5' 7" and it fits me well. I don't know how it would do with someone 6'. Overall, I am very pleased and it's worth every penny.

I love my little scooter!
I searched for months to find the perfect scooter and found it with this one! I wanted something that was compact, lightweight and portable and you can't beat this one. I wasn't intending on spending this much but I am happy I did because I know I received a quality product. They called me on the day it was to arrive and made sure if I had any issues to call them back. The seat is actually very comfortable and it was important to me that I didn't look like a fat little kid on a trike. I am 5'7" and weight about 198#'s and my butt doesn't hang over the seat. This company was the ONLY one I found that posted actual pictures of normal/overweight sized people on the scooter vs some skinny cute 19 year old. That helped me envision myself on it and I knew I wouldn't look bad at all. I'm very self conscious about being judged because I need a mobility aid. It was difficult for me in my 40's to admit I couldn't beat some of my medical issues that were keeping me locked in my house. I feel like I am free to go places I haven't in a couple years and it has given me back a part of life I miss. So far the battery seems to last a good long time and this little devil is powerful and FAST! It takes a bit to get used to the throttle so you aren't bouncing off the walls. Just don't go super fast and try to turn in your living room or you will fly off into the TV. ;) Yeah, ouch. I did drive it outside on the grass and it does ok but I don't recommend it. Little hills are fine. Folds very easily and fits in my crossover just fine without taking it apart.

I already have a Travel Scoot which is very similar in size and weight. After 7 years with it , it is time for a tune-up. I was a bit disappointed that a replacement battery and controller would cost about $1400. Also the new models are not compatible with my older model so parts would be hard to purchase in the future.
